Description : Ancient Greek Gold Stater | | On the obverse of this coin there is a magnificent head of Alexander The Great wearing the Horn of Zeus (God of all Gods) Ammon - a potent symbolism of Alexander's deified image.

In front of Athena there is the inscription: Lysimachou; behind her is the inscription: Basileos. |
